About this event
The FOSSGIS-Konferenz is the leading conference in the D-A-CH region for free and open source software for geographic information systems, open data and OpenStreetMap. Users, developers and researchers meet to discuss spatial data infrastructures, geodata management, geoprocessing, analysis and modelling, desktop GIS and free geodata, alongside digital sovereignty, open science and the FAIR principles, with workshops, an OSM Saturday, a community sprint, an expo and a job board. It is run by the non-profit FOSSGIS e.V. and the OpenStreetMap community together with the university's geoinformatics department and HeiGIT, largely through volunteers.
