ECCB 2026 (25th European Conference on Computational Biology) is a five-day, fully on-site conference in Geneva, Switzerland, organized by the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics. Taking place from 31 August to 4 September 2026, it focuses on advances in computational biology under the theme “Biodiversity, AI & Health: computational biology to address the challenges of our time.” The programme includes keynotes, proceedings, highlight talks, an ELIXIR Track, poster sessions, an exhibition area, plus tutorials and workshops. It also features the European ISCB Student Council Symposium (ESCS), a public lecture, and a concluding Communities Day bringing together research communities (e.g., biodiversity and pathogen surveillance).
