10th International Workshop on Green and Sustainable Software (GREENS’26)

GREENS’26 is an international software engineering workshop focused on green and sustainable software-intensive systems, exploring how to apply green principles to software design and operation to reduce energy consumption and improve sustainability outcomes. The workshop emphasizes monitoring and measuring software “greenness” and weighing trade-offs across economic, social, environmental, and technical dimensions of sustainability. It invites emerging research papers, position papers, and extended abstracts, with submissions handled via HotCRP and reviewed in a single-blind process, with proceedings published in the ICSE 2026 Companion proceedings. The program includes multiple technical pitch sessions, breakout group discussions, a keynote on Green AI and architectural efficiency for LLM/agentic systems, and a social event. The workshop is co-located with ICSE 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
